Recline on the western terrace, relax around the swimming pool, enjoy meals on the terrace or in the elegant dining area and take in the sweeping views of Pittwater. Overlooking Careel Bay and Pittwater in one of Australia’s leading holiday destinations, guests come for the sunsets and the chic yet relaxed beach atmosphere in a stylish, comfortable and welcoming four bedroom home.
The home offers privacy and seclusion for you to escape it all if you want, yet be moments away from Jonah’s and close to the social buzz in Avalon or Palm Beach.
A newly renovated upstairs boasts internal and external living areas that maximise the location’s natural light and water views. The large balcony has several dining and seating areas including a lounge for long lazy days reading a book with only the native birds overhead for company.
The lower level offers a traditional cottage feel with four bedrooms and a television room, with under floor heating. A bathroom is shared between three bedrooms, while the master bedroom has an en-suite and private balcony.
The home has air conditioning for summer and a gas fire set in the stone fireplace for cosy winter evenings.
Set amongst native bush land and with natural rock landscaping, the swimming pool sits under the shade of eucalyptus trees and is designed to create the perfect ambience of an area replete with stunning natural beauty.
What the Owners Love
The owners enjoy early morning swims at Palm Beach or Whale Beach and evening walks along the pristine sand of the ocean beaches. They also enjoy boating on Pittwater and meals at the waterfront restaurants.
What We Love
We can’t get enough of the views from the renovated western terrace. Make the most of the entertainment potential and prepare a great Australian outdoor meal using ingredients bought at the local farmers’ markets along with some special wines from Palm Beach Wine Co. Enjoy leisurely sunset dinners on the western terrace and morning coffee and barbecues on the eastern terrace.
What the Family Loves
Spend a day of sun and sand at Palm Beach or take a ferry from Palm Beach Wharf over to The Basin on the western shore of Pittwater, a refuge of bush land reserves, natural forests, and native animals. In an area of rich natural beauty, find yourself by getting lost along the area’s many hiking trails such as the famous climb up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse for one of Sydney’s finest views.
Jonah’s Restaurant; a fine dining restaurant located on Bynya Road, Whale Beach. Offering exceptional food and wine and spectacular views, it is definitely worth a visit.
