Nestled in the green hills and close to the sparkling waters of Jervis Bay is Tannoch Farm, a country estate that also suits beach lovers. Tannoch Farm is a wonderful holiday home with grounds to match and all the luxuries the modern traveller has come to expect.
The main home is most laid out over a single expansive level. Entering from the gardens and driveway, the view of the countryside opens up through full-length windows leading onto an enormous entertaining deck. The heart of the house is an open-plan, indoor-outdoor dining, lounge and kitchen area. A place where family and friends can come together over fresh eggs from the chickens (city kids will love collecting them) or an evening drink.

The kitchen features high-end stainless steel appliances, stone benchtops and French farmhouse inspired cabinetry while the lounge is centred on a huge fireplace perfect for chilly winter evenings. In summer, a covered north-east facing entertaining area is perfect for sundowners, though you can also do that in the pool.

Off either side of the living area are the bedrooms; three queens on one side and the colossal master king bedroom with en-suite on the other. There’s also a walk-in pantry, laundry facilities and a media room with a large rumpus room on the floor below to keep the kids busy.

This is rural lifestyle at its best, minutes from the beach and close to town (Nowra).

What the Owner Loves

Living on the land means taking care of the land and this property is built with the environment in mind. Solar contributes a large amount of the electricity used, and rainwater is collected and used in the gardens.

What We Love
The location is simply gorgeous. There’s nowhere in the world with grass as green as seen on the NSW South Coast. It’s almost difficult to believe that Jervis Bays Instagrammable white sand beaches are only 15 minutes away when you wake up here, but they are.

What the Family Love
There’s just so much flexibility here for travellers with children, and so much to do. Kids will love seeing cows in the paddocks and visiting the chickens each morning. They’ll want to run around in the grass, they’ll love the eco-friendly green pool and visits to the beach. If they’re still not tired after all that, they can play in the rumpus room or watch a movie while the adults have some fun of their own.
