Sunnybank is as close as you can get to a French Provencal chateau without a ticket to CDG. Situated in one of the most picturesque parts of the Southern Highlands and surrounded by rolling hills, it features every luxury.

Accessed via a magnificent, tree-lined bitumen driveway, the elegance of the home is obvious from the first glance. Architecturally designed and north-facing, it is nestled amongst formal gardens and manicured lawns, orchards and tasteful outbuildings.
Sunnybank has a two dwellings, the main home that accommodates 10 guests, and separately the barn that can sleep up to four guests comfortably. The main home can be reserved solely with the above discount applied.

Inside the front door, visitors will be struck by the abundance of natural light and the Instagram-worthy interior design. Glimpses of the countryside seem to appear from every angle, especially the floor-to-ceiling windows in the various living areas.
The layout offers an abundance of space for families and friends to spread out over a weekend, with five luxurious bedrooms arranged across two separate wings, three designer bathrooms, a Miele kitchen and various outdoor spaces, including a full outdoor dining area on the wraparound verandah.

What the Owners Love:
At Sunnybank you feel a true sense of escape. Coming down the drive and through the front door is like stepping into another world, a world where the cares of the city no longer matter. The property shines in all seasons, with the terraces and outdoor furniture shining in the warmer months and the crackling central fire providing a cosy retreat in winter. Yet the home is only 15 minutes from Bowral and 20 minutes from Moss Vale, and you can be there from Sydney in a little more than an hour and a half.

What We Love:
This property is such a wonderful spot to enjoy the great outdoors. Not only are there formal gardens and trimmed hedges around the house itself, there are also vegetable gardens to stroll past, an orchard to wander through, chickens to feed and horses (Piccolo and Rebel) to pet. Sunnybank does have a dam on the property within walking distance of the home, so families with small children need to ensure they are supervised.

What the Stylish Traveller Loves:
The interior of the home is like a dream, effortlessly combining modern design with heritage elements for a seamless take on rural style. Everywhere you look there are juxtapositions of old and new: a reclaimed chest of drawers next to a white marble bedside table, a wicker basket next to a moulded timber lamp.
