Taking up the entire top floor of a Federation block, Mosman Panorama is a uniquely stylish place to stay. This penthouse apartment sits in the quiet, well-heeled suburb of Mosman, just across the water from the city.
Extremely capacious, the Panorama offers three bedrooms, two spectacular balconies and multiple living areas. Renovated in contemporary style, the property is bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the entertainers’ balconies.
Which brings us to the view. As soon as you walk up the stairs into the apartment, the vista of Sydney Harbour will take your breath away. The view seems to fill the house, flooding into the living room, taking you by surprise in the dark stone kitchen.
The three bathrooms (including an en-suite for the master bedroom) feature beautiful grey marble and luxurious tubs. There’s plenty of storage in each of the three bedrooms, including a walk-in dressing room for the master. There’s also a study, family room and internal laundry. This place lacks for nothing.
What the Owners Love
Mosman is an old fashioned, quiet neighbourhood, known for its leafy streetscapes, beautiful boutiques and historic buildings. Away from the Military Rd shopping strip, things get very sedate and very private. You get a real sense of the landscape here, thanks to the trails along the shoreline, the water views and secret harbour beaches, like the one just around the corner at Sirius Cove. But despite all that, the city is only 20 minutes across the harbour by ferry: the most scenic commute in the world.
What We Love
It’s not named Panorama for nothing. The view from the balconies and sitting room is one of the best we’ve ever seen. The unique top-floor position, just to the west side of the Mosman Peninsula, gives you a fantastic view over Cremorne Point to the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and city skyline. Not only that, but you have a lovely outlook on Mosman Bay, where ferries and sailboats weave back and forth. With a coffee or a glass of wine in hand, you could spend hours simply staring into the distance.
What the Family Loves
Groups and families love Mosman Panorama because of its spaciousness. There’s room for everyone, with two balconies, a sitting room, an open-plan living-dining area, a family room and a study. You won’t be tripping over each other. On top of that, this property offers convenience. There’s a car space and the ferry is only a short walk away, which means you won’t have any trouble getting around. The kids will love playing by the Harbour or in Mosman’s many parks, but they’ll love Taronga Zoo even more, and it’s only 20 minutes walk away.
