Surrounded by the lush Goonengerry National Park, you’ll have stunning views of hills and greenery right outside your door. A quick drive takes you to Byron Bay’s famous beaches and lively town centre, with local cafes, unique shops, and landmarks nearby for you to explore.
While The Writers Room offers plenty of privacy, guests may occasionally share the property with others staying in the main house – Goonengerry House
Alternatively, grab some friends and rent both Goonengerry House and The Writers Room for a larger, more social getaway while still enjoying the privacy of each individual space.

While Goonengerry House may be rented separately and occupied by other guests during your stay, it is thoughtfully positioned to ensure both dwellings enjoy privacy.

If you’re travelling with extended family, teenage children, or extra friends, the entire Goonengerry Estate (both the main house and The Writers Room) can be rented together to accommodate your group comfortably.
