We booked the property almost...

“...a year ahead of our wedding weekend, and weren't disappointed! The kitchen is a foodie's dream, with multiple fridges, ovens, dishwashers, beautiful dinnerware and cool features like an induction stovetop and hot/cold/sparkling water taps. The barbecue area is also huge, with multiple fridges, which is just as well as we do love to over cater! Manny was so accommodating to our last-minute transfer requests (particularly on our wedding day, when we were so nervous and preoccupied!), and having use of the SUP boards was really good fun. Claire was great to deal with in the lead-up to our stay too. Would highly recommend!”

My family spent a long...

“...weekend at Calabash Lodge to celebrate my wife's birthday. The lodge is very well equipped for all your activities (small powered boat, canoes, ride on tops, fishing rods, crab pots etc.) and household amenities, including the kitchen which had literally everything we needed for the range of meals we prepared while there (I had brought a micro-plane just in case, but they even had one of those!). The place is very well situated on the river and the building itself if of a very high standard of design and finish. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful steel casement windows which frame the stunning water views from the lounge, dinning and kitchen, and the lovely deep bath with river views was another favourite. The hosts and support staff were always helpful, professional and thorough.”

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views and the exquisite attention to detail throughout the property. Every aspect of the home, from the high-end furnishings to the meticulously curated decor, created an ambiance of elegance and comfort. We especially loved the pontoon, which offered us endless opportunities for fishing, kayaking, and boating. Spending Easter here with our three kids was an unforgettable experience—they enjoyed exploring the serene waters, while we soaked in the tranquility of Berowra Waters. Manny was so fantastic, lovely and beyond hospitable. Please pass on extra thanks. Thanks again, we hope to return!”
