Our contact Isabela was so helpful & allowed us early check-in after a very long flight. The terrace is huge and gorgeous. Best of all were the stunning views and wrap-around windows - from the cityscape to the harbor, it was an everchanging view. We watched the boats, the cruise ships, the buildings that sparkle at night, we could even see fireworks! The apartment was very spacious & afforded three couples plenty of space & privacy. The master bed was super comfortable. The luxury bath products and easy to use Nespresso machine added to our enjoyment. The parking spot was great and easily fit the large van we had rented. The neighborhood was absolutely wonderful! Charming, picturesque and so walkable. Great bakery & coffee a two minute walk. We can't say enough how much we loved it!”

If you do not, maybe do some research beforehand. Now, aside from where it was, I have to say the apartment was lovely. I hesitated before booking it because it didn't have many reviews and I didn't love the pictures, however I feel like the photos don't do it justice. The place, while it is old, has been completely refurbished and it really is lovely. The furniture is very high end, the kitchen is well equipped, and overall everything was up to my standards (which tend to be high!).”

Contrary to other comments I read earlier, going there with a kid wasn't an issue at all. The pool was awesome, the little one loved it. Angela made it super easy for us to check in even though our plane landed at 11pm, and met us there past midnight. She also let us check out later. Thank you! The only thing to be aware of is that the apartment is on a busy street, so pretty noisy early in the morning if you're a light sleeper.”

The bed is comfy and the apartment has all the essentials, including laundry, oven and stovetop. We were also given a lovely in person welcome and communication on any issues we had was fantastic. Only comment would be that the apartment is a little bit more tired looking than the photos and caption would suggest. The bedroom lights were not working and although an electrician was scheduled to come look at them, they weren’t fixed for the entirety of our stay. Other than that, we loved it, and would consider booking again :) ”

The decor and amenities of the apartment were modern and stylish, and the views were magnificent. The beach is right outside, countless bars and restaurants are within walking distance, and the Manly Warf is a quick 10 to 15 minute walk if you want to catch the ferry over to the city. To speak to the quality of the caretakers, we accidentally left valuables at the unit, and they immediately contacted us to tell us and coordinated meeting up with a member of our family that lives near by to drop these items off. We’re incredibly grateful for their honesty!”

Nearby grocery stores made it gorgeously homey, views of the quay activity, bridge, and The Rocks made it the most luxurious location ever. Proximity to the Opera House was the reason we booked it, but management, amenities, luxury, and surroundings made it extraordinary. A brilliant home away from home.”

Plenty nice cafes to brunch in. The apartment had great coffee supplied. We really enjoyed the stay. Hope to come back again. ”

“...things to say about the apartment and also some things that needed improvement. First of all: the view over the city, Harbour Bridge and Opera house is fantastic. Something you get never tired of. The flat itself is small (hotel room size) and comes with customized furniture, that makes it work overall. The amenities work, Internet is decent speed and there is a visitors parking in the garage if you rent a car. The bathroom is small, shower does only have a small overhead shower piece, no hose. There is no air condition but at least 2 elctric fans. Also the flat can not be darkened as the blinds let light in the room. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay and made the place work for us. ”

“...a stunning view of the Sydney Opera house and Harbor Bridge this is your spot!. Stayed here for NYE and a bit beyond. Loved the neighborhood. Beautiful marble bathroom. Quiet, cozy, functional kitchen with washer/dryer made this an easy stay for eating in as well as many good places to eat out within easy walking distance. Short walk to Kings Cross train station and an even closer bus stop. Our host/concierge had good suggestions for shopping (Harris Farms market the best!) and dining. Only challenge we had was the evil Aussie mosquitos. Not a good plan to leave open the slider or window that didn't have screens (several do have screens). Was a heat wave while we were there and while there was a fan it did get a little warm with out AC. Realize that it was an extreme time of the year too. Absolutely not sorry we stayed there - would do it again in a heart beat. Simply cannot beat the beautiful views.”

“...here for a week during Sydney Mardis Gras 2017. Overall we were very pleased with the apartment. The location is perfect - 2 blocks from Taylor Square/Oxford Street. The pictures were accurate and the unit was in a nice building. Check-in process was smooth and easy. Our host even provided champagne for us. We were a bit surprised, being from the States, that the unit did not have central air (A/C). The temperatures were thankfully mild during our stay, and there is a good cross breeze in the unit, but had it been during a heat wave, it could have been very uncomfortable. We kept the sliding doors and windows open almost the whole time to keep it cool, but this also meant a lot of street noise filters up, since it's just above street level. The unit was clean, and there was plenty of hot water, clean towels, and good water pressure in the shower. Washer and dryer worked well too. We were not able to use the oven because the temperature numbers were eroded or missing. The upstairs "carpet" was very rough and could use an update. The beds were comfortable and the building felt secure. Neighborhood is very nice with plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes within easy walking distance. We would be likely to stay here again, assuming the forecast was not too hot. ”

He met us at the unit (he went above and beyond waiting an extra hour for us after a travel delay), walked us through everything we needed to know and shared with us some of his favorite coffee shops/restaurants.”

“...stay. The location of the apartment can't be beat for easy access to various areas and neighborhoods of Sydney, 10 mins walk to the central business district, bus stops very close by. While close to everything with plenty of restaurants and cafes around, it's also fairly quiet with lots of trees and birds, a great place to unwind and rest at the end of a busy day. The apartment itself is like what you see in the pictures. The gym is an added bonus, a bit small but with most things you would need for a good workout. There is also a parking space included, which we didn't use but we appreciated the convenience of it. The team at Contemporary Hotels is fantastic. From check in to check out, they were great. Very responsive and quick to help with any issues or requests for information/help, etc. We felt very supported and well cared for during our stay. Thank you!!”

It was very hot while we were there but the ceiling fans both upstairs and downstairs did a terrific job of keeping the temperature comfortable. We didn't rent a car as there are so many great places to get to either by ferry, uber or just walking. Would highly recommend this company. “...met me personally (I think Kieren is the regular contact) -- both ensured that my stay was great at all times. Even offered some much-appreciated flexibility on check out. The location should probably be slightly adjusted from the pin on the AirBnB map. You are essentially just over from the Coca-Cola sign at King's Cross. Which is a great location. Tons of restaurant/nightlife/cafe options. There's a Coles supermarket just nearby. I was a big fan of the cafe/bakery directly across the street. Mmmmmm. Everything in the apartment itself is premium. I hate mornings, but my time zones were off so was blessed with the sunrise each morning. Great view of the Paddington neighborhood and on to Bondi Junction, with lots of trees rolling away to the horizon. Gym was small but good... and I had it to myself. Pool was a bathtub. (You will not be doing laps.) Other than that, nothing but raves from me. Almost extended my stay just because it was so comfortable, but really wanted to relax at the beach for a few days.”

“...at The SkyLoft in Sydney! The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking and truly made the whole stay wonderful. The hosts, especially Kieren who welcomed us, were very kind to explain all the workings of the apartment. There were 6 of us, and we stayed very comfortably for 3 nights. The kitchen was well stocked with basic needs, and they threw in a bottle of champagne for us to enjoy! The bathrooms all had clean towels, and Aesop products. The rooms were all quite spacious, and the neighborhood were very central. Check out the Infinity Bakery, and All Spices right across the apartment when you get hungry. Oh a note on the air conditioning however, it didn't really get cool for the master bedroom, but we didn't make a big fuss due to our short stay. But I'm sure they will work on it very soon! All in all we had a great weekend in Sydney and can't wait to get back, and will check out their other places too!”

The open plan kitchen and living room was a wow place to have a family dinner. There are a range of places on the doorstop to get food if you don't fancy cooking yourself. The only disappointment is the size of the communal pool which was more of a plunge pool than a lap pool however this wouldn't stop me highly recommending the place. ”
