Contemporary Hotels moves quick to acquire Luxe Houses!

Australian boutique rental agency Contemporary Hotels, family owned and operated by Matthew Fleming and son of hospitality pioneer Terry Kaljo has just acquired Luxe Houses.

Luxe Houses is Australia’s most prestigious provider of private luxury rental properties, with more than 100 carefully selected exclusive trophy homes and event spaces in Australia and select foreign destinations like Paris and Cote d’ Azur. Renowned for providing opulent residences with personalised concierge services for VIP guests like Gerard Butler and Ronan Keating, Luxe Houses will now operate as an individual business unit of Contemporary Hotels

Contemporary Hotels Managing Director Matthew Fleming was quick to appoint blue blood hotel management in line with the acquisition. Former Merivale GM and winner of the L.E. Hotel Awards GM of the year (2014) Richard Meulet will now lead the Contemporary Hotels & Luxe Houses collective as General Manager pushing their already renowned Boutique Hotel philosophy on holiday homes.

Both business units will benefit from a combined, streamlined sales and marketing force to form a one-stop shop for the personal assistants of celebrities, high net worth individuals and event planners looking to book top-shelf properties like a penthouse on Sydney Harbour or a mansion in Port Douglas.
