Accommodation

Contemporary Hotels is the Primary Agent for Potts Point View.
Commanding the quintessential Sydney view, Potts Point View is a luxury apartment which literally adds art to life as the city skyline forms a dramatic backdrop to every room, taking in the harbour Bridge, Opera House, Luna Park, the CBD and North Sydney neon. The mis-en-scene speaks emotion and conceptual glamour-dazzling by day, scintillating by night. This is a luxury apartment that should not be missed.

This Potts Point, one bedroom luxury apartment was renovated and a wall eliminated to maximise space, the resulting oversized studio, now boasts knock out views from every room. With an art directed interior and furnished with the most desirable Australian (Grant Featherston, Artes Studio) and international (Vico Magistretti for Cassina) mid century design, Potts Point View will be appreciated by the lovers of understated style. Discreetly positioned in a 70s architectural mid rise-attributed to Australian Modernist Ian McKay, This Potts Point Luxury apartment is perched on the escarpment at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the desirable precinct of St Neots Ave, the Parisienne end of Potts Point’s cafe strip.

This is an amazing apartment...

“...Once we walked in, we were blown away by the breath-taking view of the city and opera house. Matt and Romayne are very friendly and easy to communicate with. We really appreciate the convenience they granted us. As a huge foodie, Potts point is a great suburb to enjoy. Easy and beautiful 20mins walk through royal botanic garden into the city. Plenty nice cafes to brunch in. The apartment had great coffee supplied. We really enjoyed the stay. Hope to come back again. ”

There are some really good...

“...things to say about the apartment and also some things that needed improvement. First of all: the view over the city, Harbour Bridge and Opera house is fantastic. Something you get never tired of. The flat itself is small (hotel room size) and comes with customized furniture, that makes it work overall. The amenities work, Internet is decent speed and there is a visitors parking in the garage if you rent a car. The bathroom is small, shower does only have a small overhead shower piece, no hose. There is no air condition but at least 2 elctric fans. Also the flat can not be darkened as the blinds let light in the room. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay and made the place work for us. ”

Fantastic service Kieran was great...

“...and welcomed us on arrival and showed us around and how to use every device. The whole process was made enjoyable and so easy will definitely come back, the views were sensational. The whole experience was made seamless with transfers from the airport being organised by contemporary hotels to a request to have wine and cheese for us on arrival, all met and organised beautifully. We will definitely be back ”

If you are looking for...

“...a stunning view of the Sydney Opera house and Harbor Bridge this is your spot!. Stayed here for NYE and a bit beyond. Loved the neighborhood. Beautiful marble bathroom. Quiet, cozy, functional kitchen with washer/dryer made this an easy stay for eating in as well as many good places to eat out within easy walking distance. Short walk to Kings Cross train station and an even closer bus stop. Our host/concierge had good suggestions for shopping (Harris Farms market the best!) and dining. Only challenge we had was the evil Aussie mosquitos. Not a good plan to leave open the slider or window that didn't have screens (several do have screens). Was a heat wave while we were there and while there was a fan it did get a little warm with out AC. Realize that it was an extreme time of the year too. Absolutely not sorry we stayed there - would do it again in a heart beat. Simply cannot beat the beautiful views.”
