Accommodation
Set high above the city skyline, this elegant three-bedroom apartment is simply magnificent. Located in the bohemian inner-city neighbourhood of Darlinghurst, it is the perfect location for families and groups who appreciate the finer things in life.
– This is a no smoking property. There is to be no smoking either inside the apartment or on the balcony as per Body Corporate rules.
– No parking with this apartment
It’s an unrivalled package, with three oversized bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms, a sizeable open-plan living area and multiple scenic balconies. The impressive kitchen is clad in Carrara marble, with high-end Electrolux appliances, two ovens and a breakfast bar. The formal table or al fresco dining set up offer options for eating in and entertaining, but you may not get that far with so many fantastic restaurants at your doorstep. Darlinghurst is a fantastic position, with myriad café, dining and bar options. The city is walkable, but so too are the boutiques and trendy storefronts of Paddington and Surry Hills.
And how about that view? The north-west facing living room catches sun all day, with the skyline, Harbour Bridge and Harbour providing the perfect panorama. You could spend all day staring at the way the sails of the Opera House catch the shifting light, but there’s too much to do!
What the Owners Love
Sumptuous styling and high-end finishes give this apartment a sense of true opulence. From the white marble of the kitchen and bathrooms to the rich wood paneling of the bedroom built-ins, no expense has been spared. Original artworks and tasteful objects are scattered throughout. The overall effect is so luxurious that at times it can be hard to know whether to stare in or out.
What We Love
Staying in Darlinghurst is the best of all possible worlds. Perched right on the edge of the city, all of Sydney’s major attractions are walkable, but you’re part of a real neighbourhood. The area is famed for its fine dining and sophisticated nightlife, with some of the city’s best restaurants and bars right around the corner. You won’t be left with nothing to do.
What the Family Traveller Loves
It’s rare to find such a spacious apartment so close to the city. With three bedrooms and the option to book the self-contained one-bedroom apartment across the hall (Sky Pad), there’s room for the whole family. The sizeable open-plan living area offers options for casual and formal dining, with two lounges so everybody can space out. The bedrooms are large enough to hang out in, and parents can always retreat to the balcony for a glass of wine at sunset.
Please note: There is a self-contained one-bedroom unit across the hall called Sky Pad. It is not suitable for children to stay in unsupervised. This apartment can be booked at an additional cost to Sky Loft to make four bedrooms, but must be booked at the outset as they are two separate apartments.
